Your Intercultural Sport Management Experience

Is your sport management-class looking for international experience and cultural exchange?

The Jena Sport Management Summer School for Bachelor and Master Students is a unique opportunity to gain an international perspective on sport management and achieve career advancement and personal enrichment within a 2 to 3-week summer course.

The curriculum is adapted to your needs and includes lectures and case studies as well as trips to important sites and institution for the German sports system. Besides the theoretical knowledge, the contact with German students provides the opportunity to exchange ideas and opens new perspectives on the international sport business.

The lectures take place in the city of Jena, a historic university town and centre of education and research. The Friedrich Schiller University Jena holds a top position in national rankings with almost 20,000 students, of which more than 10% have an international background. Participants of the Summer School Program have the opportunity to visit key cities and gain a hands-on experience of the spirit of German sport systems.

"In the wake of globalisation, professionals need international experience. By participating in a summer school in Germany, students can lay a foundation for their future career. While encountering another countries culture, students gain important knowledge and have the opportunity to interact and exchange with other students."
